in-car cupholder recommendations?

My Z4 desperately needs a cupholder for my morning coffees, Pepsi slurps and Maccy Dee milkshakes.

My girlfriend currently makes for a handy cupholder but she does seem to moan a bit on long journeys and I need something quieter for when I'm out on my preferred 1 up fast road trips ...

Ideally a cupholder that can be affixed to the aluminium trim to the left of the gear stick, doesn't have to be OE spec and I don't mind aftermarket as long as it doesnt look out of place, any recommendations out there?

Original no good ???

... depends on the price I guess if you can get OE cupholders for a Zed 4.

And have to confess Im not overly keen on the position of the air vent cupholders - being lefthanded I would prefer to have the cupholder fixed somewhere more centrally located within the car, to the left of the gearbox would be ideal

i have http://www.ultimatecupholders.com/containers.html

similar to machine monkeys i believe, only down side is where i have them if you move seat forward it pushes them.

Im same never liked cup holders high up

Yes, very similar design to machine monkey ones.

I bought a pair of MM ones from another forum member who was selling his Z4 as I'm sure I read MM doesn't do them any more.

My current car has the OEM ones, but being on the dash they just feel a bit too high up (and a bit flimsy)!

Plus I'm sure I read somewhere that you can only get used right hand ones.

Have seen both sides on offer, if you ask the breakers some don"t even know they exist

Machine monkey has made some in the past
Yep, but if u buy one of his holders make sure u politely remind him to flatten out the top flap that slides under the centre console plastic....

Ideally something like this is what I would like, obviously a rhd version. Think the photo shows a 1 series cupholder. Have also found similar in design BMW 6 series cupholders on Ebay and wondering whether I could configure my centre trim to accept this type of cupholder ...
