Hi all-what would you do?-got a few chips on the bonnet and toying with the idea of re-spray (only thing I am doubting is if he silver is not exact in all lights)-took the daisies off now and back on the original alloys-but toying with the idea of putting the paint money towards the alloys instead-the paint place is a BMW approved bodyshop so should be ok finish  -thanks

Wheels mate , , you will get far more pleasure from that spend & the bonnet paint will wait .
Fwiw my son has just booked his R32 in for front bumper & bonnet repaint with wings blown in where necessary to match , on a silver car / £250

Is it cheap or are others expensive ?
He's a top bloke (ex Rolls Royce paintshop) who's done a few jobs for myself , neighbours & work on my sons previous motors .
Also painted the side of a Z4 last year for a forum member who was more than pleased .

Definitely new wheels over a few stone chips. You'll never really notice the paint job if it's done well, the new wheels will make you smile every time you see them :D

You still have the e93 andy?

I'll suggest another option.... A new car :p!!

A nice e89 would go down a treat!!

New wheels, then sell your old ones and with the proceeds do the bonnet. Problem sorted
