You could just replace with Sachs which is the OEM. Don’t pay BMW prices, but they can be reasonable from the likes of Autodoc.

For what it’s worth, I think £16,250 for a 48k coupe is outrageous, but £17-18k for a 15k miler seems very reasonable. There are very few left with that kind of mileage.
