I’ve not really heard of anyone doing a meaningful remap on a M54 or N52 on this forum, however the Si upgrade is definitely worth doing on a 2.5i N52 and doesn’t cost a lot of money.

That’s a very aggressive fitment, which I think will be beyond flush at the rear. The 224M only just fits on a non-M E85 and that’s 9” with an et30 offset. Fronts are likely to rub too. If you’re not worried about such things and you like the Carlos Fandango look, then go for it.

I think you mean 2 fronts (with the labels) and 1 rear (thicker with more coils). Absolute bargain for someone. I would have them except I’ve just bought some suplex.

No such thing as a “run flat wheel” as fitted to a E85/6, only a run flat tyre. Everybody agrees that getting rid of the OEM Potenza runflats is the best way to improve ride, and to some extent handling, on a Z4. Your 107s will be fine on normal tyres, and less susceptible to pothole damage.

Anybody have parts 5,6,7,8 & 11 so I can build new front strut assemblies without taking apart my car? Good condition required commensurate with a 50k E86. I believe these are common parts across all non-M E85/E85.

Check the battery terminals are tight.

Is the motor struggling, or does it cut out completely accompanied by the red light on the dashboard flashing? If the latter, you could have a break in the loom in the headlining, most likely in a little red wire at the point were the loom folds. It’s difficult to find but easy to fix.

I agree. Embellishments to the E86 rarely look good, except perhaps the aero skirts. Nice job so far.

I can highly recommend this mod if you are looking for a bit of extra sound from your six cylinders without impacting on the neighbours.
