Not sure about that. I thought the standard BMW wheel colour was reflex silver. They came in silver as standard.

Most purist sports car drivers (and Z4 enthusiasts) seem to insist on a manual gearbox, but I personally really like the M54 3.0i / auto combo. Upgrading to flappy paddles is a fun thing to do and not difficult.

I’ve never had to drill out a knuckle bolt, so just checking what you mean here. Swap out the whole knuckle, or can you get better access just by removing the hub?

Genuinely, @B21, thankyou for sharing. It may be the only thanks you get, but I agree with most of what you said. It is natural to feel that the forum is ours, i.e. the established members’, but it was here before we joined and the community welcomed us in. We should do the same.
