The top finally relented. It seemed locked at the middle of the front end. The solution was to have someone try to pull the top up while I was pressing the top close button. I started moving albeit slowly and needed some effort to bring it all the way up. I can now work on the motor hydrolics.

My soft top is down and I cannot pull it back up because the release handle (red cable release catch) does not operate bypass release anymore. It was a bear removing the cover in the trunk because the top is down but I managed it. The idea was to adjust the cable if possible (white plastic...
