I ran across a site about a month ago, that BMW was sued & is now giving extended warranty on fuel pumps for 10 yrs.

Does anyone know of a Class Action Lawsuit against BMW on the Z3 -Z4's? (tires, fuel pump) If so, could you post the website please? Also, how can you tell if the fuel pump is an N54 & HPFP? What type is on a 2005 3.0i?

I have had the oil changed twice, but the next oil change will be done out of warranty. I was trying to have everything looked at and/or fixed & changed before it runs out. I have never had my brake fluid or transmission fluid changed. Should I have that done before warranty runs out? What...

I was just at BMW for something minor, I asked them about an oil change, I have an 05, 13,000 miles, they said they could do the oil change, but couldn't reset the computer because it would throw everything else off. Is this true or BS?

Not to sound stupid, but what is FOC? I have an 05, I do know that it puts the top & windows down, but that's all I know. What all can the key be programed to do? BMW would never devulge any information if you don't ask.

Thay said they checked the hoses & everything else. Replaced everything 2 times already. I use the best gas. I guess I'm the lucky owner of a z-lemon & have about had it with BMW. :fuelfire:
