Ended up just dousing it in contact cleaner and tried that paint brush idea , worked well on the male side but ended up couldn’t tell how well the female side came out , will update when I try to clear the light soon

Thanks for the advice I’m quite new to this fault finding stuff , when you say main door connector what exactly do you mean and where I can find it , is it literally just the connector between the car and the door ? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

Not sure if this changes anything but upon disconnecting and cleaning the yellow connector under the drivers seat the fault changed to absent rather than present and I was able to clear it until it came back a few hours later
