    They are rare as hens teeth and command a premium, I've seen them change hands between £350 and £450. The E46 M3 strut brace fits with a little fettling, and they are more easily available.

    Worth doing a vanos test using ISTA, I heard of a similar issue and it was the vanos solenoid block failing.
