The difference between New England and Nappa is only slight. Nappa is softer to the touch and has a more uniform grain. To look at they are very similar and most would struggle to tell the difference until you touch it. Here's a photo of New England compared to Nappa:

Your doors don't have the needed wires, whilst your chassis did. I can send you the wires you need and you can add them. People used to source the entire door looms but its easier to just add the wires you need.

You could try cleaning up those pins with isopropanal alcohol. Then use some silver grease in the female contact for those pins. A similar sized pin to the ones pictured above or a needle, then carefully push some silver grease into the female pin. You need to be careful as silver grease is...
