Thanks sars and Berneray for your reply’s, I think after the last couple of hairy days on summer tyres in slush they probably worth investing in.

Just wondering if you fitted the wheels and tyres in the end and if so are the noise levels increased?

Could anyone tell me please if the visibility package provides better/ brighter headlamp (dipped beam particularly) as I find my standard light a bit dull despite a recent calibration at BMW. Thanks

A 3.0 m-sport with pro pack in Misano blue on a 21 plate parked in Penrith town centre about 1.30 this afternoon.

Diagnosed as an issue with one of the ride height sensors and now replaced.

It is the original battery, tested it with a multimeter and got 12.6v then under load with a battery tester which it passed. I am guessing it is probably a sensor of some description so another trip to the dealer (or the local specialist).

Do you not find it knocks the power down a bit and stiffens up the ride?

Any advice in relation to the above dashboard message would be greatly appreciated. My car, a 2019 Z4 2.0, was at the main dealers last week for a routine brake service and MOT. I was informed it had a nail in the rear tyre which I asked them to repair. All fine when I got the car back then...

There is a thread about delaminating of rear screens on bimmerpost ‘BMW G29 soft top problem, help’. General consensus seems to be it is a cosmetic issue with no leaks reported.

I had a clonking noise from the front at low speed which was eventually diagnosed as the steering rack. One way to check is following a drive turn the engine off, stand outside the car with the door open and wiggle the steering wheel. If it’s the rack you should be able to replicate the noise.

Ordered a new one which confirmed it should be black with the BMW lettering in silver. Had to order it in person at the dealer with ID, the V5 document and the car (so a photograph of the windscreen VIN could be taken).

Seems to charge my apple phone fine but there are other posts on here where people have had issues with slow charging and phones getting very hot. I am sure you are aware but again wireless charging is an optional extra (also included in the technology pack).
