    World Cup.

My dream outcome tonight would be Spain going two nil up in the first 10 minutes, and then keeping the ball for the next 90 with a shouts of “Ole!” For every single pass. For the Spanish team to come out with muleta’s, and avoid every Argentine foul with a Veronica… especially that knob...

FOR SALE E89 Front Bilstein B4 shocks and top mounts- brand new £175.00

If you need to replace active shocks it’s much more cost effective to just replace the lot with the Bilstein B12 kit, remove the control module and have it coded out. The B12 kit is a significant upgrade on the active set up, l know as I’ve been there with a previous E89. Another forum member...

How much more power can i get out of my e85 30iSE

3.Oi in the UK is M54, I don’t think you can put an N52 3.0Si intake manifold on an M54 without significant expense and some sort of adapter. You’d then have to have it remapped, I’m guessing that the expense would be significant for relatively minimal gain.

    WANTED Wanted - M40i Handschalter

I think there’s also a bit of the sports car ‘summer tax’ at play here. I bought my M40i Auto from Group 1 BMW in January, had a few lovely trips out in it, including a week long foray down to Kent and across to Belgium, then sold it to Sytner via Motorway a couple of weeks ago for a bit more...

So I’ve just checked on Autodoc and one of the front struts is currently out of stock but is priced at £119, The other front that is available is £96.99 and the top mounts are £33.49 each - so that’s £255 + postage. So how about £175 collected or plus Postage.

To sell or not to sell....that is the question

You already know the answer, sell it. If you don’t thoroughly enjoy driving it, cash in and move on. It’s a bit like marrying a lady-boy from Bangkok, might look beautiful but a lot of fake bodywork and the wrong equipment under the bonnet. (Not speaking from experience!). If it doesn’t...

FOR SALE E85 steering wheels - standard MFSW & 'M' wheel

Check the customs position on second hand car parts from UK. I sent someone a steering wheel a few years ago and they ended up paying a fair bit of VAT & import duty even though it was second hand. Can’t remember which country it was, but definitely continental Europe.

    E89 to E86?

E85 /E86 /E89 - 3.0 N52 is the sweet spot in the range for performance, reliability and cost across all of those. I love my Alpina, but they’re rare and, so, expensive compared to E85 3.0Si

Is G29 a worthy upgrade from the E89?

I think the Michelin Supersports fitted to the M40i are a bit too ‘summer only’. I’ve had the car out for a proper drive a few times over the last few days and the it’s felt completely different and confidence inspiring, must be the heat as the tires are transformed. IMHO something like PS4S...
