Seems like it's time to swap it out for something more useful for

FOR SALE BMW Style 103 Wheels with Goodyear Eagle F1 Tyres 6mm

There's not really much movement with the price IMO. They're very well priced for the tyres alone. Over 6mm tread, and tyres only just over a year old - over £330 for the tyres new (plus fitting, so probably about £40-60 on top), and 4 wheels in decent condition - they were a bargain at £250...

    WANTED:E85 2007 OEM AUX panel + socket + wiring

No worries :) If it helps, it literally just plugs into the existing car's loom - no modification required, so easily reversible. You can also skip songs with the steering wheel controls, if you have them. Anyway, I'll chime out now - good luck with the search!

    WANTED:E85 2007 OEM AUX panel + socket + wiring

The panel itself from BMW is not expensive. It's usually cheaper than you see them on eBay etc. As an alternative, have you considered the Bluetooth streamers? https://ebay.io/m/jugjJV This is just one example, there's another that connects directly to the head unit too. Of course, if you'd...

Hello, just paid the deposit on a Z4.

Google Translate in camera mode - does it easily in real time

What have you done to your car today?

@danfrost89 , check out ISTA for a more modern alternative. The downside is that it's slower, and runs a massive local database, so eats disk space. It also doesn't expose as much data on these older cars either, but it does solve point 4.

    Phone mount - 3D printing

They don't get blocked by the steering wheel IMO. I am just holding the phone there as I haven't worked out which type of mount I want to add to the holder, so with a magnet mount, it might be a bit lower than I have it in that photo. Photos with both the steering wheel at lowest and highest...

Wow, what a stunning colour/paint condition! The seats look a great match too - what colour are they?

Retrofit of lumbar support into Z4 E85 msport seats.

I like this mod. I've done it on E46 seats in the past, but didn't consider it possible on the sports seats due to the totally different construction! Thanks both for the inspiration here! I've got 2 E60 lumbar bladders/pumps en route. I got both for just over £20, so we'll see if they work or...

    Info on swapping engines

Looks like the engine mounts are the same as the E46, so within reason, find a guide for the swap in an E46, and it should be fairly applicable to the e85. Same electrical architecture too https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part?id=AU51-EUR---E46-BMW-318ti&diagId=22_0071&q=22116765965...

    Rear shock absorber replacement

Yes, it's springs that set ride height, but if you match the shocks with a spring of the wrong length, it can (allegedly) cause premature shock wear. I bought these this year for my e86 with sport suspension. Was the best 'oe' I could find, this side of BMW https://m.autodoc.co.uk/bilstein/631791

What's the first mod thing you did to your E86 after purchase

It's more said in jest, as I assume your comment was, too. I don't dislike them as a blanket rule. They're great for the right places/people, but I'm not that person (maybe I would be if I lived in a different climate to the UK). Having had convertibles before as hire cars/test driving for...

What's the first mod thing you did to your E86 after purchase

I'd Be grimacing too. Removing the roof is a great way to ruin a car

    M539 new video with N52 E61

Nor did I! It looks like these though. £22 from BMW https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/part?id=DU52-EUR-11-2006-E86-BMW-Z4_30si&diagId=11_8581&q=11367541692

FREE E85 2.5i with 220K miles too much of a risk?

If it comes with the hardtop, you could probably sell that on for enough to cover the cost of getting it back on the road! Sounds promising though
