As much as we love a Z4M...

“Absolutely love the Z4M but wouldn’t dare touch one.” I do understand why people can be cautious about them, particularly if they’ve read about the usual S54-related issues and the costs that can come with them. That said, I think the reputation for being frighteningly expensive to own is...

    Z4MC vs modified E46 & E92 M3

I don't think the vid is about the result. They pretty much knew the result in the first couple of mins. Nice to see these together being driven hard 15-20 years later

    Z4MC vs modified E46 & E92 M3

True but nice to see all gens together. Although like when it was launched it gets a similar showing and opinion.

    Z4MC vs modified E46 & E92 M3

When I bought my first Z4MC also had the chance to buy a 30k mile CSL for £35k unfortunately didn't have the funds at the time. I don't feel I missed out tho, the SMG for me was and is a big drawback would take the manual everyday.

    10 years of Z4M ownership

Thanks for the reply! Car seats in a two-seater are certainly an interesting topic, and it's surprisingly difficult to find a definitive answer. Ted is three and currently under 15 kg. The general advice is to keep children rear-facing until at least four years old and for safety up to 7! A...

    10 years of Z4M ownership

Hello everyone! Yesterday marked seven years since I picked up the Z4MR, which I can’t quite believe. This was pick up day. These cars really do get under your skin. Including my first Z4MC, I’ve now owned Z4Ms for over 10 years - nearly a quarter of my life. I used to laugh at my uncle for...

    The Zed Shed on video!

A lot of it comes down to organisation and communication. Hes busy and that is not his strength. Ive been trying to get my car in (mainly because i live round the corner and he has done it a few times) to install ISOFIX and airbag deactivation for about a year and the coms are super sporadic...

Advice - Protection covers and soft top textile treatment - Z4M40IA E29

I wouldnt bother, mine was covered by a previous owner unless its immaculately clean the contact causes scratches and on black paint it will look awful in no time. Mines an E85 but with a consumer grade DA, pad and ultimate compound, it took forever to get them out and some i couldnt without we...

Insurance question (not the price this time)

Being fully insured does not always mean receiving the service or settlement you expect when the worst happens. My Mini Clubman JCW was stolen in 2020 while it was at a garage for repairs, so it was not in my care at the time. Before the pandemic, it was probably worth around £18,000–£20,000...
