Swapped out my starter motor, took me about an hour n half, starts on the button and spins up a lot quicker. Yeah back on the road. Thanks for your help guys. :D :D :D

I am reasonable with spanners how long will it take me to change the starter motor, I haven't worked on 4 wheels for quite some time, or should I take it to a local mechanic?

Well I got it going, but don't which sorted it cos I both tapped the starter motor and charged the battery, Doh!. Battery was showing 12.6v . I have only been doing short trips to work in it recently with th a/c on, so maybe that was draining the battery, and the run not long enough to give it a...

Thought I'd put the meter on the battery, only 12v, so on charge see if that makes a difference.

If it was the starter surely I'd hear the solenoid?

I have tried both keys, both unlock and lock remotely, just absolutely nothing when I turn the key, it was fine 2 days ago, started, drove ok, nothing seemed to be amiss.

Tonight I thought I'd go for a blast, key in ignition, all the usual lights, turned the key- absolutely nothing, no click of solenoid nothing, checked fuses - all ok, plugged obd2 in- no warnings or codes, hooter works , indicators work, all electrics seem to be ok, battery power is ok, plugged...

Thanks for the quick reply, mine doesn't have the alarm connection there. It may well be just a part of the loom that isn't used, or the connection has dropped down, and I can't see it. Just seemed a bit to clean for it not to have been joined to something.

My apologies for asking this question in the newbies intro section, I'm new. Looking under the bonnet of my zed I noticed this loose connector, I've looked all over and I can't find its other half, anyone point me in the right direction please.

This is my little beastie, looking under the bonnet, like ya do I noticed a loose connection, well I've searched,but cannot see the other half of the connector, help..... it's the rear right half from the front ,if that makes any sense.
