I don't think I would have pre remap, I will definitely miss it now it's given me another 5-7 mpg on my commute and the performance is very good, the Z will definitely have the edge on sound and driver involvement! It walks away from my Uncle's Z3!

I would have a look at the early model Seat Leon FR interior is awful, however the 170 pd engine and internals are very good. Plus if you are that way inclined (may not be the case if it's for your wife) a remap takes this to around 205 bhp and the clutch is still well within it's limits.

Agreed I would certainly suspect the road surface and some sort of fluid leak, I had an incident with a lethal diesel and oil mix doing 15mph on a roundabout and spun !
