Do you mean the actual copper contacts on the sensor itself? I understand I can just spray it with contact cleaner? So the difficulty would be in removing it and putting back in. Unfortunately I'm a couple hours away from Lincoln.

I'm in the process of replacing drop links in my e86 Z4. I managed to remove the old ones by gripping the bolt with adjustable wrench on one side and unscrewing with spanner on the other as the whole thing was spinning and there was no Allen key hole in the bolt to hold it. The new item...

It's harder than I expected, especially when it's all as rusted as mine. I undid all the bolts except for one, there is not enough space to put the spanner in. Removing ball joints is also going to be fun.

Just checked, definitely not xenons. I'm going to go for https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/354580363858 - a bit more expensive but a lot bigger seller so should be safer. I'm going to keep the car in jacked up and hopefully will fit them the moment they come.
