I removed the washer bottle and thoroughly cleaned it out with a bottle brush. I wiped and rinsed the hoses. Put it all back together and it was all fine. 30 minute job.

He doesn't charge much mate - I think it cost about £100 or so. Makes a big difference to the back of the car I think. The stock tips as supplied by BMW are somewhat underwhelming for the flagship Z4 model IMO.

Many thanks. I have seen them go anywhere between 15k - 20k. The 15k is the "winter" number when convertibles are not in such demand. I kinda thought we were still in winter but thinking about it, we have a whole summer ahead.
