My Z4 drivers door card has a hole in the arm rest which is getting very tedious.
Does anyone had a door card for sale from a car with champagne leather?
I’ve generally found TRW arms pretty good; the M3 arms fitted to by various 1 and 3 series have arrived with the M logo ground off.
I did buy some cheap TRW dampers and they were rubbish in all fairness.
Parts in places like eBay can be bonkers expensive compared to a dealer. I needed a light bar for my old E92 rear trim. £90 on eBay…£35 for a the dealer. Lots of fixings are similar too.
Yup, I’ve ended up removing the soft touch off the steering wheel controls because it had worn and looked poo (especially against the new wheel trims that I bought).
My theory is that grit gets washed up between the plastic liner and the arch and as the car vibrates / flexes it damages the paint. More water / crap gets up there and gets caught between the liner and arch and the rot sets in where the paint has been damaged.

I tend to use ATE who are an OE manufacturer, if you time it right on autodoc it won’t break the back either. Their ceramic pads are ace and worth the slight extra for a reduction in brake dust.
