My daughter bought en E89 23i MSport. Insurance cheaper then a E85, and if she could have found. 30i, 35i or 35is the insurance was even cheaper. The 20i or 28i were more expensive to insure though.

Not sure how old that price is, but for £22 on eBay there is a main dealer selling them.

Buy on condition rather than mileage.

Those were the days, for us it was the Pru man. I remember him knocking on the door one day and informing that for the last six months I hadn’t been insured. Can’t remember why, had been paying, probably due to a car change.
