A friend of mine had his 1968 Triumph Bonneville fully restored in 2013, he rode it for 100miles & parked it in his garage for a decade..
He’s just dropped it off at Smartbear towers for me to clean it up & recommission it, bit of a shame he had a tumble dryer in their as well as it’s knackered...
I’ve got a couple of half decent bikes, not used them much lately due to the turmoil that my life’s been for the last couple of years-sunny days ahead hopefully

Hi, this was my grandads watch in the late 1960’s before my dad inherited it in the 80’s, it’s now mine. I like the style but like its history more.

It’s been a while since my Z4 was dragged away by the insurance company, I’ve really enjoyed the last year & a half bouncing around in a Citroen 2cv but the lure of another BMW was to strong to resist…
Just need some warmer weather now.

Hi, last week we had a team in who emptied the place of our possessions, they’ve boxed everything unaffected by the flood to be stored until we’re ready to move back in - everything else has been skipped.
Luckily our rental isn’t so bad

Unfortunately once a welded repair has been carried out they tend to crack again adjacent to the weld, the heat from the repair makes the alloy more brittle
:(

I wanted something quirky that soaks up the potholes in the lanes, economical & easy to fix with reasonably priced parts.
Still got a soft top as well, made from 1948 to 1990.
I’ve bought a Citroen 2cv

Yep, I’ve rebuilt the engine from the smallest constituent parts using replacement crankcases, cylinder, piston, and crankshaft.
Started it for the first time today & rode around the village, sounds well and rides smoothly
