Thanks. Devon. Turns out the OEM only makes plastic ones (now), there is a metal version, but its after market non-OEM. Ordered one from Bimmer world (URO Oil Pan Drain Plug with Seal Ring - N20/N26). Dealer recommended buying the after market version.
