For the first year we, in the UK, could only get the 6MT is frozen dark green, whilst I don't dislike the colour, I wouldn't buy one and neither did many people, there were only 35 manuals registered up until mid June, this compares against circa 2000 auto's registered.

Having owned both, that’s really the major difference. Because we have the 6MT version, we get the specific revisions designed to improve the dynamics and make the drive much more involving. The 8-speed auto, on the other hand, just isn’t as engaging. Sure, you can tootle around without a care...
