I understand that and that’s why I’m looking for the new owner, but would be nice to get John’s help as he’ll know who he sold it to. Somebody on the forum did also express interest in the car so could be a forum member.

Really hoping so. If John has genuinely forgotten then I understand (I’m a reasonable person!) but I would really appreciate the contact to locate the new owner so I can try get it back. It’s something that means a lot and I wanted to pass it to my daughter.

Sorry to hear that. I think we try give benefit of the doubt when it’s a forum member. It’s not selling on eBay. But like you say, a lesson learned sadly.

Agree and thanks for reply. On the day, we had no doubt. He is a really nice bloke and hung around for a while to chat about all sorts. Family etc. We even commented that we were pleased the car was going to a good guy as we didn’t really want to get rid of it, but we had a new work car coming.
