Yeah I suppose but the fact insurance, tax, fuel economy, and pretty much everything else is the same cost for the 2.5 or 3.0 I'd rather the bigger engine. It's only going to be a weekend toy so that's another reason for the extra power/fun :) The downside is the 3.0's are slightly more...

Thanks :) Yeah that makes sense but the cheapest sports I've seen (with reasonable mileage) are almost £9k which I don't particularly want to spend at the moment as I'm trying to save for a house. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough and there are cheaper sports out there.
