I've had my car wrapped for three years, still looks good but I do keep a cover on it in the winter. The roof was wrapped without removing any glass and is fine. I would probably have the roof done in a black carbon fibre wrap if I was doing the job again.

I thought I'd share my experiences after 4 years plus of owning a 35I e89. I have owned a 2.5 e85, and a Z4MR prior to the e89. I needed an automatic gear change and the 35I seemed to fit the bill! The car had 32,000 miles on it when I bought it, DCT, i drive etc, adaptive suspension, basic...

I've had my 35I for three years. Tuned to 380 bhp allegedly. Goes like stink, great car. Done 16k in that time, now on 46k. Washer pump failed last year. That's it so far. I expect a big bill or two eventually but find a good one, and given the relatively low prices you will not regret it.

Service every 2 years or mileage reached, whichever is first. 15 plate car oil service due 2017 then inspection 1 2019. Brake fluid every 2 years. That's how I figure servicing is needed.
