Was the product you used Cerakote? Just sounda very familiar. I had really good results with it, better than other products I used previously, so maybe it is inside fogging. Before and after shots.

Used Cerakote Headlamp restoration kit and really happy with the results. Took about 45 mins in total and a lot better than the holts I had applied previously. Will report back on longevity.

Totally agreed, I bought this as a selfish purchase as well, now a 3 car family and my other car now sits idle as I prefer using the Z4 whenever I can.

Changed the front bonnet badge as it it was looking rather tacky. Very simple job using the front grill off process to get to the two holding nuts/caps - thank you all "how-to" posters - just helps all of us and if I was ever to do something that hasn't been documented here, will do to help all...

Hey Guys I have a 2006 E85 3.0si that did not have a multifunction steering wheel. I have since replaced this with a multifunction steering wheel (non-msport). The plugs are all there and connected, however, there doesn't seem to be any power going to the wheel (wheel doesn't illuminate)...

Got the rear diff oil and gearbox oil replaced on my 3.0si today in prep for my first trackday in it. Not sure if its a placebo, the UK heat or if it is actually the change but gearshifts definitely feel smoother, less like there is interference. Will see when I drive the car from cold.

Great thanks, I was thinking of the same set up with bass/midbass in the compartments behind the seats, but if it all AS3s all works without needing extra bass, will keep it as such. I am a child of the 90s so enjoy upgrading my ICE but I also have to remember that the car is only worth £4k so...
