Just completed the job, offside was heavily pitted, nearside not as bad. Used Cerakote restoration kit, followed the instructions but sanded a lot longer than suggested. Once dry was a bit worried as looked very cloudy however after completing step 3 it turned out much better than expected...

Attended the NEC Birmingham classic car show in November for the first time in 10 years which is an excellent show, returned to the practical and classics resto mod show recently and again well worth visiting. You may find a coffee and classics meet up close to you as I did here in the Edinburgh...
