You could sort all of those issues for around £600 if you can do the work yourself, its all easy stuff apart from the rear brake pipe, a garage did my mine (the one over the tank) for £170 if you fancy paying someone to do it.

Generally speaking the only modern cars that will appreciate in value will be the “cooking” versions so the M’s etc. Most other models are produced in such huge quantities that they will never be worth much despite what people trying to sell them might think.

Starter motors either work or they don’t. There is no flagged for replacement.

Doesn't it work well on Z4's? We have it on our Puma and its totally seamless, I can even do hill starts with it on. The only thing i don't like is that it often turns the engine off if you are stationary with the aircon running and it can get a bit warm!

Can anyone confirm if 17117573751 is the same as 17111436413? Its for a 2004 3.0i auto, real OEM list the first number but google searches show both numbers being used for the same tank.

With your meter in continuity mode you should be able to see if the switch is doing anything or not?

That was my point really, the E85/86 doesn't have a cruise control light so it might actually be working fine. So above 30mph,push forwards and take your foot off the gas. Does it just slow back down?
