The road going on from Alston to Penrith is supposed to be an absolute banger, if you're going that way it would be rude not to do the Windermere, Kendal, Hawes loop. Maybe getting ahead of myself there.... 110 mile round trip.

Heading up to tan hill through the cyclists, about half way rob and I passed some guy going at a fair pace up a really steep bit and weaving all over the shop, immediately after that we were up the back of the micra and greenish kia(?) who're trying to get past another slower group of riders...
