    Poor start when warm. UPDATE

Could be charcoal canister + evap/purge solenoid connected to intake. My car (N52/3.0si) does a rough idle / start on a 'warm start' which I think is because the charcoal canister might be saturated with vapors. You can check this PDF which gives some insight to when the car uses the evap...

WANTED 3.0si front exhaust manifold w/ cat

FYI, Have you considered trying to rejuvinate your cat? Citric acid + oxalic acid. Sounds like voodoo but the science is real. Here are some quick links but some detailed searching should help: https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/fixing-bad-catalytic-converters-with-p0420.166025/...

WANTED Right side mirror glass, dimming / aspherical-wide-angle

Hi all, If you have an auto-dimming mirror for the right side(European-spec aspherical) for sale, can you reach out? I'd consider buying them as a pair too if you have both. I only need the glass and not the entire housing. I am located in the US but will be visiting the UK in June...

    Koni Suspension Review

Hi @Bolle : Let me know if these pictures help. In the first one you can see what looks like a "metal shelf" that is what interferes with a re-enforcement plate (RSM or other). In the 2nd image you can see the interference when the mount is placed where it should go and it touches the piece...

    Koni Suspension Review

Just to add to this thread: IF you end up getting the Rogue Shock Mounts for the REAR, which support a thicker top-mount tube diameter, then from TC Kline you can source "white" REAR adjustable shocks which are made by Koni (for TC) and fit the Z4 correctly. TCKline's rear shocks include the...

    LED bulbs for e85

I just wanted to hopefully contribute positively back to this thread. I successfully bought from eBay a 'Scanner 1.40 compatible' adapter to re-code the bulb check so I can use LED bulbs for all lights except the Xenon. The PA software is, as suggested, really easy to use and made the process...

Anyone ever replace "folding" window trim on E85 Roadster?

Thanks for this. On one of the Corvette forums someone suggested 'Nextzett Gummi Pflege Stift' as a door seal conditioner which looks like it might help getting these window trim pieces slid in, pricing seems reasonable.

Anyone ever replace "folding" window trim on E85 Roadster?

Appreciate seeing this, but any information on HOW to replace it? I spent a bit of time this evening looking at the trim and it wasn't very obvious to me.

Anyone ever replace "folding" window trim on E85 Roadster?

Can you give me a pointer to this video? I spent a good 30 mins yesterday trying to find a video showing the replacement of the side-window trim but all I found were videos showing replacement of the front windshield trim.

Probably asked before, any suggestions for a decent 2 point strut brace?

I can suggest two more to look at (no personal affiliation): 1) https://cosmoracing.com/en/bmw-e85-e86-m-roadster-m-coupe-2005-2008-3-2l-s54-mz4-z4m-strut-tower-brace-front-strut-tower-bar-bmw That has pretty clean looks and doesn't interfere with the oil filler on N52 but I have Koni...

Anyone ever replace "folding" window trim on E85 Roadster?

Hey all, With the windows up on my Roadster I hear a lot of road noise and observed that the "three piece" accordian-style window gaskets, especially on the passenger side, are deformed and the window can't form a good seal when the roof is up. Has anyone ever replaced these, and if so, any...

    LED bulbs for e85

I haven't yet done any coding, the general process isn't crazy to me (I do hardware/electronics/software design, amusingly some bits and pieces in newer cars) but the devil is always in the details! I found this thread showing the use of NCS Expert -- is this more or less the process you...

    LED bulbs for e85

Curious, I didn't realize this could be coded out -- do you have any details on the process if you've done this? Like what program and the process? I'm guessing it's something like this? : E46 coding from : e46 fanatics forum I tried putting orange LEDs in my headlights (Xenon, facelift)...

Oily intake manifold - could it be anything but PCV?

Didn't see any responses, But besides DISA, I can't see how else oil would get into the intake besides if the CCV was failing. If you replace your plastic valve cover, also replace the Eccentric Shaft Sensor (it's at the front of engine but under the valve cover), that will definitely make a...

Location for the aircon "inlet" ?

Thanks for confirming, I figured it was under the cowl, I bought a wiper puller already, so this weekend I'll remove the the cowl and make sure the intake vent is clean and clear. How did you know you had a leak in your heater core? Did you pull the dashboard yourself? On my 3.0si I notice a...
