I would check the seal between the windscreen & body as the scuttle is to assist the water to run back through the engine bay and not in to the cabin

You have to disconnect the battery remove the seat and the centre console

I had a similar problem on the passenger side, the carpet was soaked blew the passenger airbag sensor which is located by the door sill. After intense searches, the problem was the scuttle board under the windscreen was damaged and let water in through the air vents. At the time I was having...
