I'm in the process of garaging my Z4 for the winter and was looking for reasonably priced battery charger and maintainer to connect. The AA 6V/12V Smart Trickle Car Battery Charger looks favourite for under £30 looks favourite atm. Does anyone have any preference? I've read some horror stories...

Apologies for high jacking this post I haven't had my Z4 long and I'm still finding my way around, does the Z4 boot open with the remote or just unlock? Mine unlocks OK but I wasn't sure if it is meant to also open. Thanks in advance. 2014 20i m series (uk).

Anyone know the easiest option to enable auto fold in with the door mirrors? I think you can enable it with the idrive but I don't have it and I think you can do it with Carisa. Thanks in advance.

I've looked at the carista and a couple more. Carista seems to have a lot of bolt ons you have to pay extra for. Have you (or anyone else) had experience and could recommend any of the free software packages ie IPNA/NCS Expert that can do battery registration? Might be a cheaper option loading...

Thanks for the replies. I do find the led front lights more appealing, cleaner and more modern looking. I've think I've noticed a subtle difference between pre and post LCI facelift. The A/C control on pre cars has a snowflake symbol, same button on 2013 cars has the letters A/C on.
