Thanks for reply, as I wrote, due our "ordinary/typical" winter conditions (there is once/twice or some years more often up to half a meter of fresh/powder snow overnight) I must switch each November to "real" winter tires despite the cons they are bringing (noise, lesser grip, soft rubber etc)...

For at least 15 years I kept to the following: Every 2 or 3 years purchasing 20 (25) liter drum of spare oil for my Zet (MillersOils CFS 5w40 NT+) and used it upon my needs = ie. storing half empty/half full drum for a year or two (always lidded, of course, at room temperatures in darkness)...

Just two notes for other owners/users of BMW´s: 1. At around 103kkms one out of two pre-cat o2 sensors died (my shitty slot-eyed diag could not recognise which one), replaced them both, but regrettably bought Delphis (upon VIN, of course) which resulted in sporadically, but re-occuring faults...

My car park consists of my Zet (e89 30i MR2009), my wife´s VW Tiguan 2.0TSI EA888 MR2012 and our "shopping bag" Fiat Panda 1,2i (NA Fire) Climbing MR2006, all already definitely NOT new, suffering randomly and occassionally various malfunctions due their age/mileage, obviously. So, back in 2024...

My Zet became my daily lately, inheritting from my previous, now gone, company 3er e90 its 18" winter wheels (the same design - OZ Ultraleggera - but one size smaller - 18", while at summer I do drive 19"), actually wearing quite worn Pirellis Sottozero. Which WINTER tires (225/40R18+255/35R18)...
