    What’s it worth?

Going back a few years ( 5-10 ) id agree but not true any more , the punitive VED capers are something the car world hasn't experienced before & now the sums are already sizeable the year on year increments will see the end of way too many cars that would have found favour as 2nd / weekend...

6ers in any guise offer so much motoring for very fair money though bitter experience i learnt earlier ones can be majorly problematic so be prepared for some unexpected bills . Currently have a 640d & a 620Gt , unless it was to buy a 840Gc or 840 coupe i wouldn't sell either of them. Post...

    Cleaning steering wheel

Did exactly this yesterday Tom. Routine job i do every few months as i cant do with the shiny wheel look or feel . Forget the big detailing names , just a kitchen fleece & a basic cleaner without bleach in. ( also used swarfega in the past with same result )

    Great Looking BMWs

Many fine examples above. I don't think I've been "Bmw-less" since my first purchase 30yrs ago ( E30 325is ) & I don't see that changing providing the recent front grill design gets sidelined swiftly. Did have a previous Bangle designed 645ci which was ruinous to own , no comparison to...

Out of the z4 - in to the BMW 7 series

Yes higher up the range part prices do increase , i was wary of that buying the F13 , to the point i walked away from a near perfect example in terms of condition + history but had 2 specific items i didn't want to be involved replacing > active rear steering & adaptive ride shocks 2 items...

Out of the z4 - in to the BMW 7 series

Like any other Bmw or used car for that matter , you buy the best example you can based on its history & condition . Yearly oil change ( or 8-10k max) with decent oil , don't thrash from cold , use quality fuel & no reason why you should expect anything major to go wrong . egr / dpf...

How long until she goes 😂

Not laughing long were we , , , Shabana Mahmood in as Home secretary & lame duck Lammy ( managed 2 from 13 general knowledge questions on Mastermind) gets Deputy PM role . I do wonder if those who actually voted these educated idiots into power are starting to worry . . . . .

    Lets see your Watches

Well the Pro has gone :( a lovely piece of horology but bought "blind" online the 39mm always felt undersized on my wrist & i knew from first wear it wasn't a keeper . Traded up to this rarity of Tudor watches , a "Grantour Fly Back" on bracelet & couldn't be more pleased with it , its...

Was this a bargain or a potential money pit?

Thoughts ? Well you did ask  buy 112k Z4M with a decent list of required maintenance for £7500 + the other list that isn't mentioned . spend £5k ( & that is a ballpark sum ) & you have a nice car worth around £1000 less than its cost you . Buy these cars now to enjoy now...
