IMHO a straight 6 is one of the unique features of the Z4.
BMW are charging a lot for the stalk these days so as a cheaper alternative you could consider this optio.

I saw that one earlier today.
While I like the Bi-Colour seats it seems pretty sparsely equipped with no parking sensors and the billy basic stereo. Seems a few grand over-priced to me.
I'd take an M every time over an Alpina with the chavvy stripes and wheels that must be a nightmare to clean. Not to mention the EPAS, run-flats and open diff that Ms don't have, and that's before you get to the wonderful S54 screamer. :poke:
I don't really know, but I just had my rear brakes pipes replaced in kunifer and the firm that did them sent me this photo inside the OSR wheel-arch which shows where it connects to the flexi-pipe. It looks like it might be clipped to the suspension arm.

Presumably the leak was one end of the flexi-pipe, so maybe the RAC man has left it rubbing on the wheel? Anyway I hope the next one can sort it for you. :thumbsup:
When I had a spare key cut for my previous Z4 the guy who did it had to code it and deleted all the keys I didn't have, which might be cheaper than a lock set.
BMW seem to have lost the plot with making reliable cam-chains around 2006.
Mrs Tidy bought an R56 Mini Cooper just in time for Christmas 2006 and a couple of years ago it needed a new cam-chain at less than 75K miles. Last month I had a later Cooper SD Countryman from my Indy that he bought...
