All the hard plastic cooling stuff is that color, I think it's just the material type. The coolant hard pipes underneath the intake manifold are also the same brown under a flashlight but appears black to the naked eye.
I haven't fitted them but for sure you will need that adapter because the center of the halogen clip is rectangular and it won't let the LED through because the Osram LED is circular.
Also, you will have to get some sort of resistor to not get a bulb out warning or constant flickering because...
Changed my OEM strut mounts for brand new Febi strut mounts. Nearly 180,000 miles on the original mounts… they were cracked and pushing through the rubber and I was scared it was going to shoot through and damage my hood at one point… kind of dangerous tbh.
It’s been making weird noises...
Lol for some reason eBay third brake lights have lasted much much longer than OEM for me. So long that I'm knocking on wood that the one's I've had for 5 years now stay uncracked
Awesome review/preview
Man, those rolling shots of that E85 really shows how stunning the original Z is. That's what people see when you're driving? Sheesh
How many miles on your Z?
Sometimes the MAF sensor can give your car's computer incorrect values due to age and it being possibly coated in a layer of dust/dirt etc. You can remedy this by buying a MAF cleaner spray and spraying it on the MAF sensor and cleaning it thoroughly then...
Oh man I just watched this.... that does not sound good.
Sounds like rod knocking. Did you ever run the car with low oil? I could be wrong though but if it's rod knock, your engine is done.
Are you getting any codes? Usually actual misfiring will throw a code and tell you which cylinders it's happening in.
If there is a code, you just swap the suspicious spark plug into another cylinder and see if it throws the code in it's new place. If it follows, it's the spark plugs. If...
Sounds like your valve cover gasket needs to be replaced. Those gaskets are supposed to be soft and squishy and over time they get hard and brittle and let oil seep into the coil/spark plug areas.
Very beautiful! I love the beige interior, although I'm biased because I have the same interior color :p
Your headlights look SO clear and clean! I wish mine were like that!
That waterproofing tape won't hold up too long. The water that rushes down the door will start eating away at it on the bottom where that upside down "triangle" is near the speaker wires. I suggest a new membrane as you'll have the same issue again and again eventually
This.
Swap the coil pack of the cylinder that's misfiring and see if the problem follows it. If it doesn't, then it's unfortunately time to do a compression test.
