I like that you haven't felt the need to go FI. Who did the bodywork/rust prevention? Looks like you've targeted all the usual risk areas. And the soft top is off the car currently?

Have you had either before? Miss my 130i and strangely, recall having more fun in my mk1 and mk2 MX-5s than I do in the Z. Not so in the mk3 or 4. The Z beats those.

Drove the country roads commute back from East Horsley over Ranmore in 30 degrees, top down, a/c full blast and cap on to cover the balding bits. Wonderful!

Abbey Motorsport in Oxted if you need an East Surrey option. Haven’t needed for my Z but they did my 240i and mk1 mx-5 when I had them.

£193 with a fee-free card not bad. But may attract import duties. Not sure if I should bite.

What a Fool

Took it for a spin at dusk and although an improvement, light throw is still poor. On the upside, no flashes from oncoming traffic so beam pattern must be OK. If I keep the car will have to look at complete headlight overhaul for those winter country lane commutes.
