Check you have the parcel shelf at the low position in the boot, as the roof can't fold down with the shelf up. There is a small micro switch on the shelf so that when the shelf is up it holds out the motor circuit from driving the roof into the shelf. Hope this helps (or even makes sense).

I removed the Bridgestone run flats and replaced with Goodyear eagle f1 assim 2 - can't believe the difference in the car. The handling is amazing, grip in the wet and cornering have improved massively.

I had similar damage to a previous car so when i bought my Z4 I've fitted a 550mm by 500mm steel mesh in front of the air con condenser, it just slots into the space in front of the Condenser. I also sprayed it with zinc paint to stop rust. I've not heard of anyone else doing this but have heard...
