So, car being used daily again now, no misfire and Redex seems to have stopped the fuel pump being noisy. All’s well now. Thank you for the heads up re using Redex @ Rockhopper. Mike :thumbsup:

When I had my tracking done, the chap had to use heat and a lot of swearing to make them move.

I had the air bag light come on a couple of years ago and used my Creator 410+ to delete it and it hasn't come back yet, so you might be lucky. :thumbsup: You can buy them on Amazon.

Back in 2022 there is a thread with a similar misfire and it seemed to be down to a spark plug gasket leaking a little bit and when the engine was left standing for a while this would cause a misfire until the oil burned off. I don’t know how to put this up on here but it seemed to be enuff_zed...

So an update, mechanic came today, turned the ignition on and the noise was still there and stopped a few seconds later as before. He started the engine and there was one hell of a racket and a smell from the exhaust, this he says is a misfire. I have not had this before, it is the smoothest...
