Problem Solved. It was the battery in my key fob. After replacing battery in fob, car has started up normally every morning. I don't understand why, but hopefully this will help future people.

In the morning I try to start my 2016 2.8i Z4 by pushing ignition switch (key in my pocket). Nothing happens, no dash lights, nothing. Push the switch multiple times until the engine turns over. After driving around town, stopping multiple times it restarts on first try of the switch. Problem...
