Irrespective of driver vintage, it’s bloody daft. Whether you putz or push, only three maps are really needed: supermarket, adverse weather/surface, spirited. Everything else is poor engineering. (Never assign an engineer to do a mathematician’s job. :poke: )

Yes, it’s DCT. It upshifts at the redline.

I don’t own a 3.0i. I’m speaking without knowledge. On the 35is, the gearbox does upshift when it redlines, even in Sport+ and manual.

Cute top. And I don't the mean the car's. 😉 Once you get used to the paddle shifters, you'll never want to go back to manual. But you need to upgrade the mapping for proper quick downshifting. Stock is awful. Enjoy your new ride. :driving::thumbsup::thumbsup:
