Hey, What did you do for Pin 35 from the FRM module? If you do not have the lights package the pin is already occupied by the interior reading lamp ("ceiling" one).

I've had a similar issue when I've retrofitted sport seats. Before the retrofit, my car has heated seats so I figured I was just missing the factory wires for the seat pumps (the ones that adjust the bolsters, lumbar support, etc.). In order to spare some time, I've linked together the wires...

It's a feature, not a bug :). Keep in mind this car can be left with the top down in a parking lot - now imagine if somebody would be able to open the door that easily when the top is down. (my opinion though)

You can unscrew the kinematics box a little bit just so it can wiggle around (do it one at a time), then open / close the roof once or twice, then screw it back in and it should adjust.

This - perfect answer. After you take it out you can open the glovebox and see that there is a dedicated space to store your cupholder after you remove it from the center console.
