I think the reference to back tabs, was the rear access cover bracket-thing. Those sadly don't have repair kits.

I have some of the inlay pieces, but they aren't mint condition. Would need to be prepped and painted. I was planning on having them hydro dipped. Just not got round to it. I imagine you have spare? If they are however of interest let me know and we can cover on PM. Thanks

How did you open the headlight? Did you cut the lens off? Or did you pull it out of the recess in the black shell? Reason I ask, is I have a lens, but from a cut and shut project. So it's not got that inner lip. Similar to the below. See link for full thread...

FYI it will be held in with 3x torx screws. Not sure if you'll have the access to remove all 3? Don't attempt to remove the module without having all 3 out!

Hours isn’t accurate. Afaik the book says something like check after 10mins and a minimum of 5mile journey. If your dipstick is showing okay I wouldn’t worry. I trust that more than any old sensor.

People, plural. Interesting indeed! I still thought the cars were plentiful, they're only being broken because they're worth more that way. I guess eventually it'll reach a 'tipping point' where that'll shift.
