The Z's softtop could handle a lot. It's a strong kind af fabric. Anyway I spray my softtop always with some anti rain spray fore sued shoes and tentfabric. With one spraycan I do two threatments, one can costs about 3 euro's. I always remove snow and ice form the top, so I couldn't hardens...
