    3.0Si Exhaust Options

Something else I should say. If you google "fitting gravity exhaust to BMW Z4" you will find a video by Keep em running. This is a very good guide and will show youth after market exhaust hangers you'll need and where to fit spacers

    3.0Si Exhaust Options

Yes I have had it fitted, and yes it's the N52 engine My mechanic told me it was a bit of a pig to fit and need to fettle the exhaust to get it to fit. I still need to do some fine adjustments on it, and I need to make a heat shield for the bumper where the exhaust goes, but other than that...

Independent BMW specialist - Warwickshire based?

I use Millsys Autos in Nuneaton, or just outside near Ridge Lane. They are a BMW and Mini specialist and really know their stuff. Family business ran by Jason and his wife Tina. I used them to look after my Mini R56 I used to have, and now use them to look after my E86...

NO LONGER NEEDED Outdoor car cover for E86

I used to cover my TVR with a good quality full outdoor cover. After the second year I decided not to cover it again as the paintwork was getting small scratches off it from the wind blowing it about. I made sure it was tied down tight but still got the scratches. If you're going to SORN your...

    Front fog lights

I'm seriously considering doing this ad wiring the lights up to a live feed to use them as DRL's. I need to speak with my mechanic to check everything out, but great idea

    3.0Si Exhaust Options

I've recently bought the Gravity CAT back system. Had a code off eBay that saved me £75 so only paid £299.99 Not fitted it yet and will be getting my mechanic to do the work as I don't have a ramp, and I'm not as young as I used to be lol. The system looks good, and you get the flag gaskets...

    E85/E86 Steering Problems (Solved)

Excellent description and photo's. A really helpful post. The steering on my 2008 E86 feels like you're having to constantly adjust the steering to keep it in a straight line. I think after reading your post it may be a little tight. Well worth having ago at this. Thank you

    Front fog lights

I'm sure these are a common issue with these cars and was wondering if anyone has renovated the front fog lights on their Z4. I have a 2008 Z4 E86 and the reflectors have perished and was wondering if anyone has dismantled them and re-chromed the inside of these? With the price of a new unit...

E86 fighting to keep in a straight line

So my E86 went in for a full inspection with my local BMW specialist today and he found a few little things that need sorting but nothing major. it is a 17 year old car after all. The steering issue he solved, he set the tracking up right. Why the garage I bought the car from couldn't sort it I...

E86 fighting to keep in a straight line

Not sticky, just constantly trying to keep it in a straight line

E86 fighting to keep in a straight line

Yeah, I think because the steering is at the front the garage didn't bother looking at the rears. One of the first things I did when I got the car was check the tyre pressures. They were out a bit but spot on now, though I feel I better check them again after getting the car back from the dodgy...

E86 fighting to keep in a straight line

I have a friend with his own garage. He has a 4 wheel laser alignment system so will be getting him to check the geometry

E86 fighting to keep in a straight line

The garage has fitted new lollipop bushes but cheap ones. I plan on changing them to Lemforde ones at a latter date. They have done a full wheel alignment and recalibrated th steering, apparently. Like I said I don't trust the garage lol
