Stone chips are a problem with both paint and wraps but both can be repaired. The are people who have brand new cars wrapped and just remove when they sell leaving unmarked paint underneath.

We didn't deal direct with the customer on this one. Got a feeling it may come back to have the shuts done at some point as its a bit glaring with yellow. There's only so much you can do though and if you're intent on hiding every bit of the original colour then wraps probably aren't for you...

This one didn't go for door shuts etc. We did take the bumpers and lights out though to hide as much as possible of the original colour.It was yellow to start with.

Thought you guys might be interested in a Z4 wrap we did at the place I work. 3M matt metallic blue. I think it looks great on the Z4
