    2003 E85 Airbag Removal

Haha it's certainly not a job I want to do again but its easier than trying to break the roof motor free in the boot, I gave up on that idea quite quickly, if I didnt know it was a proven method I would never believe it can be done that way

    2003 E85 Airbag Removal

I left my steering wheel on whilst changing the eps motor, used it as a handle to help me get out the car 🤣

    Lollipop bushes

Well it passed mot today with no mention of them. Car is 2004 120k and front shocks and top mounts have been done recently and yes I noticed a massive difference after having them done so much so changed the rear shocks soon after

    Lollipop bushes

Whilst working on my car i've noticed the outer rubber part of one lollipop bushing has separated, the rest of the bush looks fine and there is no play, car has no knocks and rattles and handles fine. Now should I just replace the lollipops or do the whole control arms, or wait till the bush...

I know it's a thing on the e46 but can't find an option that exists for the z4

NO LONGER NEEDED Urgently Wanted Dual Mass Flywheel for a 2.2 Manual

NO LONGER NEEDED Urgently Wanted Dual Mass Flywheel for a 2.2 Manual

I got quoted £400 to replace my clutch, Flywheel would have only been the extra cost of the part and not much more labour, when you could get a luk flywheel for £400 that wouldnt have been too bad but with the oem price of a flywheel the quote for both was £1700. Money better spent on a 3.0...

NO LONGER NEEDED Urgently Wanted Dual Mass Flywheel for a 2.2 Manual

Makes sense not an easy undertaking getting the flywheel off but might be worth it soon on a 2.2

NO LONGER NEEDED Urgently Wanted Dual Mass Flywheel for a 2.2 Manual

Do you scrap the engine with what's left of the car then?

NO LONGER NEEDED Urgently Wanted Dual Mass Flywheel for a 2.2 Manual

The z3 and e46 with the m54b22 engine have a different flywheel, i can only think that on the z4 they changed something on either the gearbox or flywheel itself

NO LONGER NEEDED Urgently Wanted Dual Mass Flywheel for a 2.2 Manual

Good luck finding one I've exhausted all options, luk do not make them anymore and I can't find any stock in the UK, Bmw still offer a genuine part but they charge £1200 for it For some reason still unknown to me the z4 2.2i with the m54b22 engine and five speed gearbox has a completely unique...

    Cowl grille replacement

Don't bother trying to remove them by hand it's virtually impossible, You'll only use this tool once but its still money well spent. https://www.amazon.co.uk/DHA-Puller-Battery-Terminal-Smooth/dp/B088JZSYXB/?tag=z4fo-21
