Confirmed the grinding sound issue is due to a warn down regulator cable, will need replacing

I'm in the midst of this issue. Drivers side Window wouldn't go up properly following grinding sounds. If the window still goes up and down but is struggling like mine... Wd40 in the slot where the window runs up and down..." The rail " I think.. Ip it some and then Window went all the way up...

I had buzzing and humming sounds with approx 70kmiles. One constant hum when engine warms up and one buzzing sound that sort of raised with the revs and seemed to disappear after 3krevs... Very annoying. Had a bmw service. Problem solved. Whatever they changed or replaced did the job for me
