I’ve got a GROM setup in my E85 Z4 that uses the DSP converter, which I power directly from the battery. It plugs into the CD changer, and I ran a power feed from the battery using ring terminals and an inline fuse.

I recently bought some mats and wanted to secure them to the carpet, so I picked up these heavy-duty Velcro stick-on strips, thinking they’d do the job.
Unfortunately, they were really disappointing. The adhesive just wouldn’t stay stuck to the carpet and the strips came away almost straight...
I bought a an airbag module of that guy at a seriously good price.. he seems to be a flipper of Z4s and sells parts. He advertises on marketplace too .. Did you buy the silver one he had up owned by a doctor?

I’m not quite ready to do the retrofit yet, but it’s something I’m planning for soon. I may end up buying a donor car, but if that doesn’t happen, I’ll definitely keep you in mind for the mirrors.

I’ve got a February 2004 built E85 and I’ve been gradually retrofitting some OEM options.
So far I’ve found the car was already pre-wired for:
* Heated seats
* Multi-function steering wheel
* Cruise control
All of those were basically plug-and-play once the correct parts were fitted.

Genuine BMW Z4 wind deflector for E85. Original BMW accessory with BMW label present. Very good used condition. Mesh is free from rips or tears, straps and buckles are present, and the side panels remain in very good order.
