    Power-fold mirrors - pre-wired on February 2004 E85?

Hi all, I’ve attached a couple of pictures can anyone confirm if this is a goer for powerfold mirrors? This the connector the door loom plugs into, does it look like the centre wiring is already there? I’ve also got a dimming rear-view mirror, if that helps confirm whether the wiring is likely...

That’s a great route, pretty much the spine of England! 😂 Thanks mate, exactly the sort of thing I had in mind.

Could we start a Z4 collection / relay thread?

Just had an idea after someone dropped a part off with me for another member to collect. I’m basically halfway between the two of them, so it saved a fair bit of mileage. It got me thinking, this must happen all the time on here. What if we had a thread where anyone who’s happy to help out...

FOR SALE E89 Wind Deflector (Complete Set)

Mate, I genuinely think we need to start a separate thread to get you some therapy 😂 You really need to calm down. This is an open forum and people are perfectly entitled to comment on an advert and give their opinion on the price. The seller can ask whatever he likes, and buyers can decide...

Comments on Z4 cars for sale threads

Yeah, if it’s a well written, honest advert for a good car, it’ll get endorsed. If it isn’t, it’ll get called out? which is useful. Out of interest, is it generally the rarer or more unusual cars that tend to sell through here? I’m selling one of mine at the moment, despite having decent...

    Howdy Everyone

Welcome! Some good ones do come up north of the border, which is always too far away for me.. With that commute, you’ll probably only just be getting the car up to temperature by the time you get to work 😀 You’re looking at two quite different cars there. The E89 is much more of a fast...

FOR SALE E89 Wind Deflector (Complete Set)

Not trying to be harsh, but £415 is getting into retail money for used parts. Also, just for anyone considering it, the existing roll over hoop covers can be drilled to accept the brackets, so you don’t actually need to buy the replacement covers.

Z4 cars for sale section and new sign-ups. Poll.

What I’d favour Allow established members to sell, but not a brand new member whose first contribution is a sales advert. I’d make the rule something like: Account must be at least 30 days old Member must have introduced themselves Then they’re allowed to advertise a Z4.

    E85 ECU/DME specialist

I’ve previously had a GM5 module checked/repaired by sending it away to a chap in Harrogate and I’m wondering if there’s a similar service for the ECU/DME. I know someone with an E85 2.5 they are looking to make a track car and having possible ECU-related issues. Rather than just replacing it...

    Power-fold mirrors - pre-wired on February 2004 E85?

I’ve had a look at my driver’s door loom . It’s quite difficult to count the wires because they’re bundled together, but it looks like it’s a fairly well-populated loom. Based on these photos, does it look like the correct wiring is already present for the power-fold mirrors/module, or is...
