    Space saver wheel?

Never had a tear or puncture that wasn’t repairable, once I did have a puncture that was close to the side wall, and a repair kit fixed that. So if you value some trunk space get a repair kit and a can of tire sealer/inflater and buy road side service, but if trunk space is not important then...

    Did anyone go 225/50/17?

Well just go with 245 45s that are available and having the highest ride/comfort ratings that you can afford. (Maybe Goodyear Assurance or Pirelli Cinturato p7 AS). They get good reviews for ride comfort at moderate price.

    Did anyone go 225/50/17?

I misstated the spacers in the back are 5mm. I tried 15 mm but got a little rub on some bumps, 5mm doesn’t do much, so the 245 45 17s are perfect—-without spacers. The Generals altimax rt 45 are a high rated tire for ride and comfort and low noise, very close to Michelins but better price...

    Did anyone go 225/50/17?

245-45-17 with General Altimax RT 45s, square set up, good smooth ride and good handling, good price. I went this way and not looking back. Went with 15mm spacer in the back. All 4 fits the wheel well nice with no rub. I was wanting a more comfortable ride and got it with this set up/and tires...

    Space saver wheel?

Carry a tire plug repair kit and a can of tire sealer/inflater and if Uk has anything like in the U.S., The Tripple A road side assistant service get that, I’ve done this for the last 25 years with 4 different weekend cars which includes my currant Z4, —-peace of mind without taking up trunk space.

    Go-to Tyres

After acquiring my 2009 6 months ago I went with square set up 245 45 17 and added Generals Altmax rt45, quiet smooth ride and and good handling. High rated on Tirerack at an affordable price.

    Wheel spacers

I recently went with 245 45 17 tires square set up with stock wheels which I love, but tried 15mm spacers on the back—a little too much rub going over some bumps so I went with 5mm on rear. The 245 17s on front is as wide as you can go and no spacers. 5mm on rear not much change over stock.

Need recommendations for hand held obd2 scanner

This could be very useful, going to print this out and keep it with my scanner in glove box, although foxwell says none of their scanners open the boot?

Need recommendations for hand held obd2 scanner

A wire from the boot? What wire? And then a grey and green wire in the cabin? and now it’s lying free? Where is the switch or what switch? Would need more and clear details

Tell us about the separate switch, how and where? I guess different than the boot opening button by the kick panel ?

Trying to find my z4s first owner who lives in Washington State

That’s a good idea———as far as other forums-— I’m had been on bimmerforums.com. when I had my Z3, that was a very active site but now their e89 forum is all but dead. I like this mostly Uk forum because of activity and I have much Scottish heritage

Thanks, I knew this was mostly a UK forum but it has more activity than the others. The other post was on Zpost forum.

Trying to find my z4s first owner who lives in Washington State

I posted this in another z4 forum but I know this is very improbable—-I bought my 30i silver 2 1/2 months ago with 66k miles. I’m the second owner looking for 1st owner. They bought it new from Bmw Seattle Washington State. The owner moved from Seattle around 2016 to Oak Harbor (Whidbey Island)...

Need recommendations for hand held obd2 scanner

It was tough going through all the Foxwell’s figuring out the differences between models and it gets confusing with the elites, pros and the plus, I looked at many reviews. Going by reviews and recommendations here I ordered the 530plus which is an upgrade of the 530. The 530 plus was $6 more...

Need recommendations for hand held obd2 scanner

I might go with the foxwell nt510 elite which is the upgraded 510 model and is bi-directional or the nt530 pro is an upgrade having WiFi connectability and some functions that the 510 elite doesn’t have. The 530 pro only about $15 more.
