What have you done to your car today?

Where did you install the Ctek connector? In the engine compartment? Or on the battery? I have been thinking about installing a quick connector under the hood. But came to the conclusion that the wires had to be extended to make it work?

    fredej's silver grey 3.0si coupé

Another year, another 5000 km driven. The Z4 has now passed 110 tkm before hibernation in October. Plans for next season includes an oil service in spring and a bit of suspension work. I have noticed that the rear bump stops have started to disintegrate. While anyway having it apart, I will...

    New daily driver <£9k

Don't buy a diesel Volvo from that era. The early VEA engines were problematic.

What have you done to your car today?

You can modify the holder to get the bulb out. See post #9 in this thread.

The Finnish shed. '06 Z4 Coupe

What brand for top mounts and bump stops did you go with? I have bought the parts for replacing the rear shocks, but haven't got around doing the job yet. I planned going for Lemförder top mounts, but they were out of stock everywhere. I bought Febi top mounts and bump stops to use with B4...

The Finnish shed. '06 Z4 Coupe

Nice work! The car looks great! That is an impressive amount of work you have done to the car in your ownership! Good to know that it's possible to replace the starter without taking the inlet manifold off even on a LHD car.

    Lollipop bushes

Eventually the rubber band / ring (on the left bush) came away for me as well. 4 years and an additional 18k km after I initially posted about it. I reversed in to a parking space (with full steering lock) and heard something snap off. Initially I did not understand what the sound was. But when...

    Wiper hitting A-pillar

It took me some time but I finally bought a wiper arm puller tool. I managed to remove the wiper arm, adjust it to a position, and putting it back together again. It didn't really wanted to stay in the position I chose when I fastened the nut. It adjusted itself to whatever spline was closest, I...
